Once you've customized your profile, you can start using the app.

Find like-minded people

As usual with this type of app, Magnet lets you set different filters when viewing other users' profiles. You can choose whether you're interested in men or women, whether you prefer to meet people of a similar age, or how far away they should be from your location. You can also choose whether you want them to share the same hobbies as you or not. All these filters mean you'll find all kinds of people.

There are limited chat options

One of the main problems with Magnet is that you're only allowed a pretty limited amount of messages in the chat. When you start chatting with someone, you can only send a few messages before the app suggests one of its various premium subscription plans. Without one of these subscription plans, you won't be able to keep chatting.

Download Magnet if you're looking for a different dating app where you can customize your virtual avatar and meet other people through their own virtual avatars. It's a real shame that, due to the limited number of messages, the app forces you to pay up if you want to get to know anyone a little bit more.
